Restorations...

Images of loved ones long departed from our lives should be cherished. Most of us have that dark closet or shoe box full of old pictures. Over time, they become dog-eared and torn, faded and washed out. Those images can be scanned into the computer, retouched and literally rebuilt to such a state that, in many cases, they look like they were taken yesterday.

In addition to making new prints, these images can be placed on media like CD or DVD and can be expected to last for many years to come.

Gather them up and let me see them. I will be glad to give you a quote on retouching or making the necessary corrections to have a finished digital print you can be proud of for years to come.

ABOUT THIS RESTORATION: This is a 1934 Class Portrait. That means it has been lying around for 68 years - most of that time in various attics from New York to Florida. It was mounted on a cardboard base and somewhere along the line, it was actually broken into two pieces, probably from being dropped.

Image below is a reduction of the final product. It is impossible to see here but restoration included removing hundreds of small stains and spots.
